Reflexology Massage

As the term suggests, reflexology is the study of reflexes, and the practice involves applying gentle pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. Reflexology practices of today encompass certain body reflexes that synchronize with organs, glands, and soft tissues, therefore, pressure applied to specific reflexes can relieve pain and also benefit health. Reflexology differs from traditional massage in that the technique primarily uses small muscle movements with the thumbs and fingers, and often gentle massage instruments, to massage three target areas, the ears, hands, and feet. Instead of applying the hands and elbows as is the case with a body massage, reflexology recipients will not usually experience pain, and they needn’t undress.
